East Cross Country Schedule

2013
From the way the members of the team worked, to the way they cheered for each other, to our times improving, to the weather this fall, it has been the most successful season in many years at East. Thank you, everyone.

Here are many members of an especially nice group of young people who will never listen long enough to hear that.

Please return your CLEAN uniform as soon as possible after your last meet (either Oct. 17 or Oct. 24).

Thank you to all team members who went to Cranbrook with us on October 24 to cheer at the League Meet!

Notes:

*Boys will run in the first race at each meet this year, EXCEPT for the Oakland County Meet, where girls will run first.

  • All runners will get a chance to participate at the South Meet, the division meet to be held Tuesday, October 8. There will be three races, a Boys’ Varsity race beginning at 4:30, which includes the top seven girls from each team, a Girls’ Varsity race following, and then an Open race for all other runners. This is the same format as the County Meet.

  • The Abbot meet (Oct. 17) will be the last meet of the season for runners in the Open category.

  • At the League Meet, to be held October 24, only the top seven boys and girls from each school will run. We would prefer something different, but the North Division schools will also be present, and the Cranbrook course is too tight for so many runners.

  • There will be no practice on Friday, October 18.

  • We will have a pizza party to end the season. Date to be announced.

This information here will be the most up to date, when the TENTATIVE label is removed.
